Onramp / Fundamentals Classes at CrossFit Federal Way

This week we started Onramp classes again at CrossFit Federal Way.  These classes are designed to help folks who have never had experience with CrossFit, as well as those who have, but would like a refresher in the fundamental movements before moving to full scale classes.

Our Onramp class is focused on bringing athletes up to speed on what CrossFit considers the 9 Foundational Movements:


    1. The Air Squat
    2. The Front SQuat
    3. The Overhead Squat
    4. The Shoulder Press
    5. The Push Press
    6. The Push Jerk
    7. The Deadlift
    8. The Sumo Deadlift High Pull
    9. The Medicine-Ball Clean


In addition to these movements, we will develop skills with kettlebells, rowing, jump rope, running, entry level gymnastics work (pull-ups and/or ring rows, etc) and discuss the intention of our workouts, how to scale, when to rest and how to protect ourselves from injury.

Our Onramp / Fundamental classes are currently on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon/evenings, give us a call or send an email for more details and to sign up! These class remain small in order to get the most 1:1 time possible and to better prepare you for our normal daily classes.  There is no additional cost for Onramp, we sign you up for our regular unlimited membership and welcome you to join us for the small group sessions.
